FAQs

1- How can one get free treatment from Trust Funds?

 

ANS:- The free treatment is only for deserving “poor and needy” persons who can visit the hospital for their medical treatment and upon providing following information / documents free healthcare services will be provided to them by our Social Welfare Department officers who will attend the patients with full courtesy, efficiency & responsibility.

 

  • Copy of CNIC
  • Complete address
  • Details of Profession / business
  • Financial status
  • Confirmation that illness/ disease / injury has not been caused due to some criminal / terrorism activities etc.
  • Brief History of ailment.
  • Doctor’s Recommendations
  • Zakat Form duly signed by the patient.

 

After having satisfied about the genuineness of the deserving & eligible patient qualifying for treatment from Trust Funds, Donations, charity and Zakat etc. the concerned Social welfare Officer will refer the patient to respective department for free treatment and health care services.
 

2- What kind of medical treatments are being provided to patients from Trust Funds?

 

ANS:- Following free healthcare services and treatments are being provided through our Social Welfare Department through Trust Funds:-

 

  • Hepatitis –C
  • Dialysis
  • Treatment From Zakat Fund
  • Endoscopy
  • General Surgery & Treatment
  • Eye Surgery & Treatment
  • Burnt and congenitally deformed children.
  • Any other medical / surgical treatment as approved by the Member / Chairman of Trust / Board of Governors.

 

 3- How can one donate funds for Trust Hospital?

 

ANS:- The people who desire to contribute in the noble cause of free treatment and healthcare for “poor and needy” persons can give their donations through deposit of amounts in the following accounts of the Trust with the country and from abroad:-

4- How one can check and verify that Trust Funds are being utilized properly?

 

ANS:- The Social Welfare Department maintains complete record and data of the patient’s with regard to:-

 

  • Addresses & contact numbers.
  • Doctors & Lab Test Reports.
  • Disease & treatment given.
  • Amount Spent.
  • Photographs and videos of the patients.

 

The above information is available to all donors who may check, verify & make their satisfaction about the treatment given to the patient by the hospital through Charity, donations, & Zakat etc. Besides as per standard accounting procedures regular audit of Trust Funds and their utilization is being made to keep the transparency in all financial matters.
 

5- Are Donations subject to income tax exemption or not?

 

ANS:- Yes, the donations are eligible for income tax exemption to the donors. For this purpose the hospital is duly registered with income tax authorities / FBR. Proper receipts are issued to the donors from hospital’s accounts department upon receipt of donationss.
 

6- Does hospital provide private healthcare services and treatment to the patients?

 

ANS:- It is our endeavor to provide highly comfortable private rooms facilities to the patients at affordable rates. For this purpose a separate block has been allocated for the patients who want to avail medical treatment in private rooms. These rooms are built to provide all comforts to the patients and their family members / attendants with separate family lounge facility. Most efficient medical treatment services are provided by our highly qualified specialist doctors, trained nurses and staff in an extremely professional manner.

8- Can visitors / family come to hospital?

 

ANS:- In private rooms’ visitors and family may come, however it is advisable that only one attendant and two visitors are allowed to stay with the patient at a time. In the Wards, only one attendant/visitor is allowed to stay with the patient at a time.

         The visiting time is given below:-

  • 10:00 am to 11:00 am
  • 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm

 

Only one person at a time shall be allowed to see the patients in ICU & Wards & Emergency

We ensue extra care to protect our patients from germs and disease through visitors to save them from the exposure to additional illness which may complicate the healing process and increase risk. If you are suffering from any disease or illness that could be transferred to our patients please refrain from visiting.
 

9- How can I find a doctor who works at your hospital?

10- What do I need to bring with me for medical checkup in the hospital?

 

ANS:- The patients are requested to bring their ID cards, previous medical records or reports, and a list of any medications being currently taken. Any further record / documentation regarding your disease / ailment would give us additional help to give you proper healthcare treatment
